Israeli Strikes Kill 3 in Gaza Amid Ceasefire; Palestinian Teen Shot Dead in West Bank Raid

Israeli forces carried out renewed attacks in Gaza, killing three Palestinians, just weeks into a U.S.-brokered ceasefire, while in the occupied West Bank, a 15-year-old Palestinian boy was fatally shot during a raid by Israeli troops.
In Gaza, the Ministry of Health confirmed that three people died after Israeli fire struck the southern part of the Strip. Witnesses said the victims were near a food distribution point when the gunfire erupted at dawn. The Israeli military claimed it fired warning shots at “suspects” who it said advanced toward troops, though the military denied deliberately targeting civilians.
The incident is yet another test of the fragile truce agreed in early October, with critics warning that continued violations risk unraveling the peace.
In the West Bank, the teenager was identified by the Palestinian Health Ministry as Murad Fawzi Abu Seifen, 15, from the town of Yamun near Jenin.
According to local sources, Israeli soldiers conducted a raid in the area lasting about two hours. Eyewitnesses said ambulance teams were prevented from reaching the boy after he was shot. His body remains in Israeli custody, according to Palestinian officials.
The killing of the teen has sparked outrage among local residents, with calls for an independent investigation into the conduct of the raid and the proportionality of force used. It also highlights the rising level of violence in the West Bank since the war in Gaza escalated.
Humanitarian groups and Palestinian leaders condemned both incidents, saying they reflect ongoing threats to civilian life despite diplomatic efforts. They argue that the deaths undermine confidence in the ceasefire and underscore the need for stronger international leverage and accountability.
