bKash Receives ‘Excellence in Investment Award 2025’

Leading mobile financial service provider bKash has been honored with the ‘Excellence in Investment Award 2025’ by the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) for its remarkable contribution to the national economy through foreign direct investment.

The award was handed over by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus to Kamal Quadir, Founder and CEO of bKash, during the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025. The event was also attended by BIDA Executive Chairman Ashiq Chowdhury and Special Envoy for International Affairs to the Chief Advisor, Lutfe Siddique, among other dignitaries.

This recognition highlights bKash’s continued efforts in promoting sustainable growth, employment generation, innovation, and financial inclusion in Bangladesh.

Founded in 2011, bKash is a licensed mobile financial service provider regulated by the Bangladesh Bank. The company is a joint venture of BRAC Bank, Money in Motion LLC (USA), International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Ant International (Alibaba Group, China), and SoftBank Vision Fund (Japan).
