Dubai, UAE — In a remarkable milestone for Bangladesh’s digital media landscape, renowned content creator Shuvasish Bhowmick has officially been awarded the prestigious UAE Golden Visa Certificate under the “Content Creators” category—an honor granted with the full support and strategic guidance of BangaNext.

This significant achievement marks the first time a Bangladeshi national has been recognized in the “Content Creators” category by the UAE Media Council, underscoring the growing global influence of Bangladeshi professionals in the digital and creative industries. The nomination and facilitation were spearheaded by Ali Akbar Asha, the respected Founder and General Secretary of BangaNext, whose leadership played a pivotal role in navigating the application and recognition process.

While Bangladesh has previously seen honorees such as megastar Shakib Khan (in the “Media Professional” category) and journalist Keramat Ullah Biplob (in the “Expert Journalist” category) receive the UAE’s Golden Visa, Shuvasish Bhowmick’s inclusion in the creative media sector is a pioneering first for the country.

The UAE Golden Visa, a highly coveted long-term residency program, is awarded to distinguished individuals across sectors such as investment, science, arts, and media. It grants recipients a host of exclusive privileges including long-term residency, enhanced access to business and education opportunities, healthcare benefits, and VIP treatment at airports and governmental functions.

Globally, celebrities like Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Sania Mirza have also been recipients of this honor, symbolizing the UAE’s commitment to celebrating excellence in professional and creative domains.

Speaking on the occasion, Shuvasish Bhowmick expressed his gratitude to BangaNext and the UAE authorities, stating:
“This recognition is not just a personal honor, but a testament to the potential of Bangladeshi creators on the world stage. I am deeply grateful to BangaNext, especially Ali Akbar Asha, for their unwavering support throughout this journey.”
