Digital Media Forum (DMF) to Honor Journalism and Media Excellence at Digital Media Excellence Award 2025

Dhaka, 2 October 2025 – Digital Media Forum (DMF) is set to host the second edition of the "Digital Media Excellence Award 2025" to recognize outstanding contributions in journalism, media, and digital innovation.

This year’s awards will be presented across 19 categories on Saturday, 25 October 2025. The announcement was made at a press conference held at Al Karim Lounge in Dhaka by DMF President Md. Delowar Hossain.

Purpose of the Award

Md. Delowar Hossain, President of DMF, said: “The aim of the award is to inspire the new generation in digital journalism and innovation, advance media in line with global trends, and recognize individuals and organizations making positive contributions to society. Honoring journalists and professionals working in online and digital platforms will further strengthen the profession and showcase the potential of Bangladesh’s digital media industry to the global arena.”

Submissions will be open from 3 October to 15 October (midnight), while the main award ceremony will be held on Saturday, 25 October 2025.

Digital Media Forum (DMF) was officially launched on 17 June 2023. Since its inception, DMF has served as a professional platform for digital journalists and media practitioners in Bangladesh. The organization is now stepping into its third year of operation.
