Robin Khan Appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tagore University of Creative Arts

Prominent media personality Robin Khan has been appointed chairman of the Board of Trustees of Rabindra Srijonkala University for a five-year term.
The decision was taken unanimously at a meeting of the university’s Board of Trustees. Robin Khan previously served as vice-chairman of the board.
Robin Khan has long been associated with various organisations in Bangladesh’s media, education, healthcare, real estate and cultural sectors.
He currently serves as chairman of Desha Holding, a real estate company, and vice-chairman of Anan Pack (BD) Limited. He is also involved with Impress Capital Limited (ICL), Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital (Doctors Clinic), a dental college and Rangpur Group, one of the well-known business organisations in northern Bangladesh.
He also serves as the Programme Director of Channel i, the country’s first digital television channel.
Alongside his institutional responsibilities, Robin Khan is involved in television drama production and filmmaking as a director and producer. His notable productions include ‘Neel Nakful’, ‘Chhaya Manabi’, ‘Shiulier Biye’, ‘Anyomon’, ‘Moti Masterer Meye’, ‘Deuya Polao Dot Com’ and ‘Ojana Atongko’. Among these, ‘Chhaya Manabi’ is one of the long-format packaged dramas broadcast on Bangladesh Television.
His directorial debut film, ‘Mon Debo Mon Nebo’, is awaiting release.
Robin Khan served three consecutive terms as vice-president of the Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA). He is also a member of the Bangladesh Film Directors Association, Bangladesh Film Producers Association, Television Programme Producers Association of Bangladesh (TelePAB) and Directors Guild.
He is also a lifetime member of Banani Friends Community Club Limited and Bangladesh Film Club Limited.
After assuming his new responsibility, Robin Khan said he aims to transform Rabindra Srijonkala University into a modern, innovation-driven and prestigious higher education institution by improving the quality of education, expanding high-quality research and promoting creativity.
