Presidency University Launches ‘Admission Fest, Fall 2026’

Presidency University has officially launched its month-long ‘Admission Fest, Fall 2026’ for students seeking admission in the new academic session. The festival was inaugurated at 11:00am on Sunday (August 16) at the university campus in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Vice-Chancellor of Presidency University Professor Dr Md Abdul Mannan Chowdhury formally inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon.

Among those present were Principal Adviser to the Board of Trustees Professor Dr Md Anwarul Kabir, Registrar Md Sakir Hossain, Dean of the School of Engineering Professor Dr Shahidul Islam Khan, Dean of the School of Business Professor Abul Kalam, Dean of the School of Law Professor Mohammad Azharul Islam, Controller of Examinations Mohammad Zahedur Rahman, and Proctor Md Anisur Rahman, along with department heads, faculty members, officials, staff and students.

The programme was conducted by Zahid Hasan, Member Secretary of Admission Fest, Fall 2026, and Deputy Director and Head of the Admission and Public Relations Department at Presidency University.

As part of the admission festival, prospective students are being offered a 75% waiver on admission fees and a 10% special scholarship on tuition fees. Merit-based scholarships of up to 100% are also available for eligible students.

Students will also receive special gifts, including the Presidency University flagship bag, attractive T-shirts and a grand gift box.

Throughout the month-long festival, students will have access to admission-related information and guidance, as well as academic and career counselling services.

Presidency University said that over the past 22 years, it has established itself as a reliable higher education institution by prioritising research-oriented and career-focused education. The university offers modern and fully digitalised classrooms, advanced laboratory facilities, high-speed internet, dedicated student zones and a well-equipped library aimed at preparing graduates to meet international standards.
