Digital Media Forum honors Bangladesh’s digital trailblazers at 2025 Excellence Awards

The Digital Media Forum (DMF) hosted the second edition of the Digital Media Excellence Award 2025 at Hotel Lakeshore in Dhaka yesterday, a grand celebration recognizing Bangladesh’s most inspiring journalists, innovators, and organizations leading the nation’s digital transformation.
The prestigious event honored outstanding achievements across journalism, technology, and creative innovation, spotlighting individuals and institutions whose works have made a lasting social impact.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Shafiqul Alam, Honorable Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Foyez Ahmed, Senior Assistant Press Secretary, Chief Adviser’s Office, as Special Guest. Leading editors, media executives, content creators, and digital entrepreneurs from across the country attended the event, making it a remarkable gathering of Bangladesh’s digital leaders.

DMF President, Md. Delowar Hossain said: “Our goal is to empower the next generation of journalists and innovators to lead with integrity, creativity, and technological advancement. The Digital Media Excellence Award stands as a symbol of progress for Bangladesh’s digital ecosystem.”
The 2025 edition featured over 25 professional award categories and several jury special recognitions. Journalists and innovators from both national and regional levels were acknowledged for their contributions to storytelling, innovation, and digital transformation.
