Parallels brings together eight contemporary architectural practices from Dhaka in a unique group exhibition.
Conceived as a book of eight short stories without text or illustration, the exhibition speaks through three‑dimensional works, visual narratives shaped by experience and spontaneous expression.
Each practice offers a self‑portrait of its ideas, processes, and repertoire. Collectively, these voices sketch the evolving culture of architectural practice in Dhaka, rooted in shared contexts yet defined by distinct trajectories.
The eight participating studios share formative grounds, mentorship, teaching, competitions, and camaraderie while remaining anchored in Dhaka despite global exposure.
Parallels marks a conscious moment of reflection at the midpoint of their journeys, inviting audiences to engage with the genetic code of their practices and the creative spirit of a generation.
