Community Bank Bangladesh Holds 79th Board Meeting

79th meeting of the Board of Directors of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on Wednesday (August 19, 2026) at Police Headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh, and Chairman of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, Md Ali Hossain Fakir.
Several investment proposals and important matters concerning the bank were discussed at the meeting, where a number of policy decisions were also taken.
Among those present were Additional IGP (Administration) A. K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional IGP (Finance) Md Akram Hossain, Additional IGP (Special Branch) Sardar Nurul Amin, Additional IGP and Rector of Police Staff College Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, DIG (Confidential) Kamrul Ahsan and Additional DIG Ahmmed Mueed.
Independent Directors Dr Md Morshed Hasan Khan, Syed Rafiqul Haque and Mohammed Tafazzul Hossain, FCA, also attended the meeting.
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Managing Director Mohammad Imtiaz Uddin and Company Secretary Saiful Alam, FCS, were also present.
