At least 11 Palestinians were killed in Israeli military actions across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, including three journalists and two 13-year-old boys, according to health officials and local sources in the war-torn enclave.

The fatalities occurred amid ongoing hostilities and repeated breaches of a ceasefire agreement that had been in place since October.

The three journalists were identified as Mohammed Salah Qashta, Abdul Raouf Samir Shaath, and Anas Ghanem, who were reportedly documenting activities around a newly established displacement camp in central Gaza when their vehicle was struck in an Israeli attack.

Colleagues said they were working on behalf of an Egyptian committee overseeing humanitarian relief efforts at the time.

In addition to the journalists, at least two children, including two 13-year-old boys, were killed in separate incidents during the same period of intense Israeli fire across different parts of the Gaza Strip.

Health officials reported other civilian deaths and injuries in various locations, as well as additional fatalities from tank shelling and gunfire incidents.

The renewed violence comes amid heightened tensions and allegations of ceasefire violations, with local hospital officials documenting the rising toll of casualties.

The ongoing conflict has already resulted in significant civilian losses and widespread destruction in Gaza since major hostilities escalated following a Hamas-led attack in October 2023.
