Shabab Karim Chowdhury Promoted to Chief Marketing Officer of Independent Television

Shabab Karim Chowdhury has been promoted to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Independent Television, one of Bangladesh’s leading private satellite television channels.
A seasoned marketing and media professional, Chowdhury brings more than a decade of experience in media sales, brand development, corporate communications, and digital strategy. Throughout his career, he has played a significant role in strengthening the marketing and business operations of several key ventures under the Beximco Group.
Prior to his promotion, he served as Head of Sales and Marketing at Independent Television. He is also currently serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Beximco 360, the group’s in-house media buying agency responsible for media engagement, public relations, advertising, and digital communications for various Beximco concerns, including Beximco Holdings, Beximco Communications (Akash DTH), Beximco LPG, and Yellow.
Over the years, Chowdhury has contributed to several high-profile projects, including the brand development of the Dhaka Dynamites franchise and the rebranding of The Daily Independent newspaper. His expertise spans media marketing, advertising, brand management, and strategic communications.
A graduate in Marketing from North South University, Chowdhury is widely recognized for his contributions to Bangladesh’s media and marketing industry. In his new role as CMO, he is expected to lead Independent Television’s marketing initiatives, strengthen brand positioning, and drive business growth through innovative and integrated marketing strategies.
