Rabindra Srijankala University Students Organize “A Thousand Years on the Boat of Melody” Music Festival

Students of the first batch (8th Semester) of the Department of Music at Rabindra Srijankala University organized a colorful musical event titled “A Thousand Years on the Boat of Melody” on Wednesday.

The program was held at Priyanka Shooting Zone in Birulia, Mirpur-Ashulia Beribadh, where students performed a variety of patriotic songs, Rabindra Sangeet, and modern Bengali music, creating a vibrant cultural atmosphere.

The event was attended by Robin Khan, a leading figure of Rabindra Srijankala University, along with Major General (Retd.) Abu Sayeed Md. Masud, Member of the Board of Trustees, the Head of the Department of Music, faculty members from different departments, university officials, students, and invited guests.

Speakers highlighted the importance of such cultural initiatives in nurturing students' creativity while promoting Bangladesh's rich musical heritage and cultural values. They expressed hope that similar student-led cultural events would continue in the future.

The program concluded with appreciation for the performers and organizers for successfully hosting an inspiring celebration of music and culture.
