Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Sarwar Alam Transferred to Ministry of Public Administration

Sylhet Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate Md. Sarwar Alam has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration and appointed as a Deputy Secretary.
The information was disclosed in a notification issued on Sunday (June 21) by the Ministry of Public Administration. The notification was signed by Jeti Pru, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Uni-2 Branch.
According to the official order, Md. Sarwar Alam has been transferred from his current post and assigned as a Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration. The order, issued in the public interest, takes effect immediately.
It is noteworthy that Sarwar Alam was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Sylhet through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on August 18, 2025.
