Saima Hasiba Apurba, who entered the world of dance at an early age with her mother's encouragement, is now pursuing her dream of establishing herself as a multifaceted artist. With national-level achievements in dance, academic excellence, and success in beauty pageants, she is steadily expanding her artistic journey. Alongside dance, she aims to demonstrate her abilities in acting and modelling. Beyond building her own career, she aspires to showcase Bangladesh's rich heritage and culture on the international stage.

Apurba was a quiet and reserved child who developed a special love for dancing alongside her studies. At around three to four years of age, she participated in the Marks Allrounder competition in 2008, inspired by her mother. That experience marked the beginning of her journey in dance. Over time, dancing evolved from a childhood hobby into a significant platform for expressing her creativity and pursuing her ambitions.

Apurba has also demonstrated strong academic performance alongside her artistic pursuits. After studying at Jatrabari Ideal School and College, she attended Begum Badrunnessa Government Women's College. She later completed both her bachelor's degree with honours and master's degree in Physics at Eden Mohila College, earning first-class results at both levels. She considers maintaining a balance between education and cultural activities one of the significant achievements of her journey.

To develop her dancing skills, Apurba trained at the Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA), Dhania branch, Jago Art Centre and Samarpan Kalakendra. Her dance mentor is Baishakhi Majumder. Her dedication and regular practice have earned her recognition in several competitions. She secured first place in classical dance at the National Dance Education Week in 2021 and in folk dance in 2022. These achievements have further strengthened her confidence as a dancer.

Beyond dance, Apurba has achieved success in beauty pageants. She participated in the final round of Face of Asia 2021 and became the first runner-up at Mr. and Miss Glamour 2022. She also reached the final round of Agamir Taroka 2023. More recently, she secured the second runner-up position in the Mrs. category at Miss and Mrs. Elegance Bangladesh 2026. She has expressed her gratitude to the organisers, Molly Akter and Md. Iqbal Hossain, for their support and recognition.

Alongside stage performances, Apurba is involved in acting, television commercials, online video advertisements, music videos and photography-related assignments. She has experience participating in performances associated with the Meril-Prothom Alo Awards and the OTT Digital Content Awards. She has also worked on advertising and photography projects with brands including Sailor, Bishwarang and The Purples by Jazz. In addition, she has performed in the Lokonatya Dal productions Kanjus and Sundor at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. She hopes to broaden her professional experience across dance, acting and modelling.

Apurba's future ambitions extend beyond her current achievements. While continuing to develop her career in dance, she hopes to establish herself on the big screen and collaborate with leading Bangladeshi brands. She also aims to build national and international recognition for her initiative, Roots in Rhythm. Through this initiative, she hopes to promote Bangladesh's heritage, culture and artistic traditions globally while encouraging the younger generation to participate in cultural activities. She is particularly interested in creating opportunities for underprivileged children and women to engage in cultural and artistic pursuits.

Apurba identifies her mother as the greatest source of inspiration in her journey. The support of her husband, Md. Nurul Islam, and her sister has also encouraged her to move forward with confidence. She believes that honesty, a positive mindset and persistent hard work are essential to achieving one's dreams. Her long-term vision is to continue developing her artistic abilities, contribute to positive social change through the arts and represent Bangladesh's cultural heritage on the international stage.
