Flavia Islam Dreams of Conquering the World of Modelling

Dhaka-based media personality Flavia Islam is pursuing her dreams through modelling, acting, and creative arts. Despite eight years of experience and the challenges and obstacles she has encountered along the way, she remains determined to move forward. Her ambition is to establish herself in the international modelling industry and represent Bangladesh on the global stage.

Educated in the English-medium system, Flavia has Indian roots and a wide range of creative interests. In addition to modelling and acting, she is interested in event hosting, DJ performances, and other creative pursuits. With her diverse interests and talents, she aims to establish herself as a skilled, internationally recognised model while expanding her identity as an actress.

Flavia has participated in various competitions and cultural activities to strengthen her presence in the media and entertainment industry. In 2022, she competed in the Miss Photogenic contest and secured a place among the top five contestants. In 2025, she received the Best Influencer Award 2025. These experiences have helped build her confidence and contributed to her professional development.

Her interest in debating and cultural activities began in childhood. She earned recognition by participating in various debating competitions and receiving awards. Flavia also received dance training from BAFA, the Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts. She has training and certification in painting, while her interest in graphic design and other creative disciplines has encouraged her to explore different avenues of artistic expression.

Flavia has also gained experience in acting. She worked in the web series The Criminals, which was broadcast on Deepto TV. Alongside modelling, she hopes to pursue acting more regularly and continue developing her performance skills. She believes that consistent creative work and new experiences will help her strengthen her position in the entertainment industry.

Her journey, however, has not always been easy. Over the past eight years, she has faced numerous obstacles, uncertainties, and setbacks. Nevertheless, she has remained committed to her ambitions. Flavia believes that talent alone is not enough to achieve success; hard work, patience and self-confidence are equally important. She views challenges as opportunities to learn, grow, and improve her professional abilities.

Looking ahead, Flavia dreams of winning an international beauty pageant, representing Bangladesh on the global stage and establishing a strong presence in the international modelling industry. Her guiding philosophy is: “Work so hard that one day no one can ignore your talent.”
