Video of Clintons’ Testimony on Epstein Ties Released Amid Intense Questioning

The U.S. House Oversight Committee has released hours of video footage showing former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton giving closed‑door depositions about their past associations with financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex offences and died in 2019.
The videos show both Clintons under questioning by Republican and Democratic members of the committee. In his appearance, Bill Clinton denied having any involvement or knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities and stated that he had ended his association with Epstein many years before the financier’s 2008 conviction. He explained that he saw Epstein only in limited contexts, such as events linked to charitable or foundation work.
Hillary Clinton, who was deposed separately, also denied close ties to Epstein. Her testimony included moments of tension with lawmakers, particularly after a photo from inside the deposition room was leaked in violation of committee rules, prompting her legal team to protest and briefly threaten to walk out before the session continued.
The released footage captures a range of exchanges, including questions about past communications, historic interactions, and contested details from files released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a law requiring parts of the Department of Justice’s Epstein‑related documents to be made public. Those files already include travel logs, photographs, and other records that have been examined by media and congressional investigators.
Both Clintons repeatedly rejected allegations of wrongdoing and said they had no advance knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. The committee’s inquiry, however, has drawn intense political debate, with lawmakers on both sides insisting that the proceedings contribute to a full understanding of high‑profile individuals’ connections to Epstein.
