Australia have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series after crushing South Africa by 214 runs in Durban. Following the emphatic victory, Australian batter Travis Head posted a humorous edited video featuring South African captain Temba Bavuma, sparking discussion among cricket fans.

Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood was one of the architects of Australia’s victory, taking eight wickets across the two innings. He claimed two wickets in the first innings and six in the second, helping bowl South Africa out for 284 and 206 respectively.

According to the report, the defeat marked Bavuma’s first loss as Test captain. He had led South Africa in 13 Tests since 2023 without suffering a defeat. Under his leadership, the Proteas had also lifted the World Test Championship trophy.

After the win, Head shared an edited video on social media showing Bavuma looking astonished as Hazlewood appeared to deliver an outstanding performance on a dance floor.

Head’s tongue-in-cheek post has attracted attention across the cricket community.

South Africa will now look to bounce back in the second Test, which is scheduled to begin on October 18.
