The International Conference on the Crimes of Colonialism in Africa

Proceedings of the International Conference on the Criminalization of Colonialism in Africa Towards redressing historical injustices through the criminalization of colonialism, organized by Algeria under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

On 30 November and 1 December 2025, Algeria will host the International Conference on Colonial Crimes in Africa, a major continental event following the adoption of African Union Assembly Resolution No. 903 in February 2025, which endorsed President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's proposal to organize a conference in Algeria dedicated to the implementation of the 2025 theme: 'Justice for Africans and people of African descent through reparations.

This initiative is in line with the historical tradition of Algeria, which paid a heavy price for colonialism and remains deeply committed to defending the dignity, memory, and rights of African peoples.
