Mirza Abbas Leaves for Singapore on Air Ambulance for Medical Treatment

Mirza Abbas, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Dhaka-8, is now en route to Singapore for advanced medical treatment.
The air ambulance carrying Mirza Abbas left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:25 AM on Sunday, March 15. His personal secretary, Mizanur Rahman Sohel, confirmed the news, stating that Mirza Abbas was accompanied by his wife, Afroza Abbas, their eldest son, Mirza Yasir Abbas, and one personal physician.
Earlier in the morning at 9:10 AM, the air ambulance arrived in Dhaka to pick up the ailing MP.
Mirza Abbas, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, collapsed and lost consciousness last Wednesday evening. He was admitted to the Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara later that night. After a medical board was formed for his treatment, two brain surgeries were performed on him.
On Saturday morning, a CT scan of Mirza Abbas’s brain was carried out, and the results showed positive signs, as reported by Rafiqul Islam, the BNP Health Secretary.
