British Council Officials Meet Bangladesh Education Minister and PM’s Adviser in London

Senior officials of the British Council held a meeting in London with Bangladesh’s Education and Primary Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon and Prime Minister’s Adviser Mahdi Amin to discuss cooperation in the education sector.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Education, the meeting took place on Wednesday in the United Kingdom.
Harriet Gardner, Director of Growth Markets at the British Council, and Stephen Forbes, Country Director of British Council Bangladesh, attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on revising Bangladesh’s English language curriculum, enhancing teachers’ professional skills, and strengthening coordination between Bangla and English-medium education systems through British Council support.
During the meeting, Education Minister Dr. Ehsanul Hoque Milon and PM’s Adviser Mahdi Amin welcomed the British Council’s proposals and assurances of cooperation aimed at modernizing Bangladesh’s education sector. They also expressed interest in working jointly on future education reforms and development initiatives.
Members of the Bangladesh delegation and senior British Council officials were also present at the meeting.
