The Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has instructed all Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination centres to maintain uninterrupted internet connectivity with their CCTV surveillance systems to ensure a fair, transparent, and well-monitored examination process.

The directive was issued in an urgent notice signed by Examination Controller Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu on Monday.

According to the notice, all Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) installed at examination centres must remain connected to the internet throughout the examination period to facilitate real-time monitoring.

The board has also requested detailed information about teachers, employees, and tag officers responsible for collecting question papers from treasuries or police stations.

Examination centres have been instructed to submit CCTV camera IDs and passwords, camera brand information, device serial numbers, and other relevant technical details. In addition, the names, addresses, and mobile phone numbers of all personnel involved in question paper collection must be sent to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) by June 8.

The education board said the measures are aimed at strengthening examination security and ensuring greater transparency in question paper management and overall examination administration.
