Digital Voter Slip Service Launched for Dhaka-17 Constituency Ahead of National Election

A new digital service has been launched for voters in the Dhaka-17 parliamentary constituency that allows them to collect their voter slips online from home ahead of the 12 February 2026 national election.
This initiative aims to make the voting process easier for residents and reduce long waits at polling stations on election day.
Under the new system, registered voters can visit the “Shobar Dhaka-17” website and enter details such as their date of birth, birth year, area, and ward number using dropdown menus to access their voter slip information. The slip shows important details including the voter’s assigned polling station and voter number, which helps them confirm where they should cast their ballot.
Once the information is displayed, voters have several options: they can download the slip as an image, receive it via SMS on their mobile phone, or print it directly from the website. Having the slip in hand on election day allows voters to move quickly through polling station check-in without waiting in long lines.
Supporters of the initiative say the digital service will help increase voter convenience and ensure smoother participation in the democratic process by making essential election information easily accessible to the constituency’s electorate.
