Chief Justice Calls Full Court Meeting on Monday

Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury has called a full court meeting of the judges of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court, scheduled to be held on Monday.

According to an official notice issued on Sunday, the meeting will take place at 4:00pm at the Judges’ Lounge of the Supreme Court. The notice was signed by the Deputy Registrar (Administration and Judicial) of the court.

All judges of the High Court Division have been asked to attend the meeting. The full court is expected to discuss several important administrative and policy matters concerning the judiciary.

Court sources said that among the issues likely to be discussed is the approval of the holiday calendar for subordinate courts, along with other administrative decisions related to the functioning of the judicial system.

Full court meetings are typically convened to deliberate on key administrative and procedural matters affecting the Supreme Court and lower courts.
