The government has kept the retail price of diesel unchanged for the month of June while adjusting the prices of other petroleum products in line with international market trends.

According to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, the price of diesel remains fixed at Tk 115 per litre. However, new prices have been set for octane, petrol and kerosene.

Under the revised pricing, petrol will cost Tk 140 per litre, octane Tk 145 per litre, and kerosene Tk 135 per litre. The new prices will come into effect from Monday, June 1.

The notification stated that fuel prices are regularly adjusted to reflect fluctuations in the international oil market.

Previously, on April 19, the government last revised fuel prices, setting diesel at Tk 115, octane at Tk 140, petrol at Tk 135, and kerosene at Tk 130 per litre.

Authorities said the adjustment aims to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market while aligning with global price trends.
