Filmmaker Hashibur Reza Kallol Awarded Honorary Doctorate in New Delhi

Renowned Bangladeshi filmmaker and media executive Hashibur Reza Kallol has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his long-standing contributions to Bengali culture, filmmaking, media, and humanitarian initiatives.
The honor was conferred upon him at an international convocation ceremony held in New Delhi. According to the organizers, the award recognizes his significant role in promoting cultural values, creative arts, media development, and social welfare activities.
Hashibur Reza Kallol has been actively involved in Bangladesh’s film, television, and media sectors for many years. Through his work as a filmmaker, media executive, and cultural advocate, he has established himself as one of the country’s prominent cultural figures.
He gained widespread recognition as the director of the acclaimed Bangladeshi film Satta. In addition to feature films, he has contributed to television dramas, documentaries, and various creative productions throughout his career.
He is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Channel Nine Television. Kallol has also held important editorial and management positions in the country’s media industry.
