‘Supercell Car Bazar’ Opens at ICCB, Car Market to Run Every Friday

‘Supercell Car Bazar’ has been launched at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, offering buyers and sellers an opportunity to explore and trade new, reconditioned, and used vehicles under one roof.

The car market was inaugurated on Thursday at a ceremony attended by prominent representatives from the automobile and financial sectors.

Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, Managing Director of Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG), inaugurated the initiative as the chief guest.

Among those present were Riaz Rahman, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA); Arifuzzaman Russell, Chief Executive Officer of Wizard Showbiz; and M M Jasim Uddin, Chief Operating Officer of ICCB.

Business leaders from the automobile sector, representatives of banks and financial institutions, members of car and biking communities, and officials from various related organizations also attended the event.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said the opportunity to view and assess new, reconditioned, and used vehicles at a single location, combined with accessible financing options, could help establish ‘Supercell Car Bazar’ as a transparent and convenient platform for both buyers and sellers.

According to the organizers, the initiative aims to create a modern and secure environment for vehicle transactions. They believe direct interaction between vehicle owners and potential buyers could also contribute to making the country’s automobile market more dynamic.

A key feature of the car market is the opportunity for prospective buyers to communicate directly with representatives of banks and financial institutions. Visitors can learn about auto loans, vehicle financing and other financial services, making the vehicle purchasing process more convenient.

The ‘Supercell Car Bazar’ will be held every Friday at the ICCB premises from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

Buyers will be able to explore vehicles from different brands and models and select vehicles according to their preferences. Vehicle owners interested in selling their cars will also have an opportunity to showcase them directly to potential buyers.

The organizers expect the regular event to gradually develop into a popular automobile marketplace in Dhaka, bringing together car enthusiasts, buyers and sellers in one convenient location.
