Condolence Message from Algerian President

His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, has conveyed his deepest condolences to the Honorable President of Bangladesh,

Mohammed Shahabuddin, and to the Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, following the sad news of the passing of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

In his message, the Algerian President expressed profound sorrow at the demise of Begum Khaleda Zia, recalling her significant contributions to the democratic journey of Bangladesh and her steadfast commitment to the welfare of her people.

He noted that her leadership and dedication will be remembered with respect and admiration. He also appreciated her great role for the promotion of bilateral relationship between Algeria and Bangladesh during her period as Prime Minister.

The President extended heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of Bangladesh, as well as to the family members and supporters of Begum Khaleda Zia, praying for her eternal peace and for strength to the nation in this moment of grief.
