Mirza Abbas, a senior member of the BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) and an advisor to the Prime Minister, has been admitted to the hospital due to sudden illness. He was hospitalized late on March 11 at Evercare Hospital in the capital, Dhaka.
According to reports, Mirza Abbas lost consciousness while drinking water during Iftar on Wednesday. Despite initial attempts to stabilize him, his condition did not improve, prompting his immediate hospitalization later that night.
His wife, Afroza Abbas, who is also the chairperson of the Nationalist Women's Party, has requested the nation to pray for her husband's speedy recovery and well-being.
Mirza Abbas was expected to attend the first session of the 13th National Parliament today, alongside other members of Parliament. However, due to his health condition, his participation is uncertain.
