DSCC Removes 32,662 Tons of Sacrificial Waste in Three Days

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has removed and disposed of a total of **32,662 tons of sacrificial waste** within three days following Eid-ul-Azha, according to an official statement.

The corporation said that **14,814 tons** of waste were transported and finally dumped at the Matuail Landfill by 11:59 pm on Eid day.

On the following day, an additional **8,977 tons** of waste were disposed of at the landfill.

By 6:00 pm on the third day of Eid, DSCC had removed another **8,871 tons** of sacrificial waste.

With these efforts, the city corporation has successfully disposed of a total of **32,662 tons of sacrificial waste** over the three-day period.

DSCC officials said their sanitation workers have been working continuously to keep the city clean and ensure a healthy environment for residents. Alongside sacrificial waste management, regular household waste collection activities are also continuing across the city.
