6,175 Bangladeshi Hajj Pilgrims Return Home on 15 Return Flights

A total of 6,175 Bangladeshi pilgrims have returned home from Saudi Arabia after completing this year’s Hajj through 15 return flights operated so far, according to official sources.
The return Hajj flight operation began on May 30 and will continue until June 30.
Officials said three designated airlines are operating the return flights. Of the 15 flights conducted so far, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated three flights, Saudia Airlines operated four, and Flynas Airlines operated eight flights.
According to the Hajj Office, among the returning pilgrims, 416 performed Hajj under the government management scheme, while 5,759 traveled through private Hajj agencies.
Meanwhile, a total of 37 Bangladeshi pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia during this year’s Hajj season. Of them, 24 were men, and 13 were women. Among the deceased, 27 passed away in Makkah and 10 in Madinah.
The outbound Hajj flight operation for Bangladeshi pilgrims began on April 18 and concluded on May 21, with all registered pilgrims successfully transported to Saudi Arabia within the stipulated timeframe.
Authorities said necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure the smooth and safe return of all Bangladeshi pilgrims from the Kingdom.
