Kamrul Islam Appointed as Prime Minister’s Protocol Officer-2

The government has appointed Kamrul Islam as Protocol Officer-2 to the Prime Minister on a contractual basis.
The appointment was announced through a notification issued on Monday by the Contracts and Foreign Recruitment Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration.
According to the notification, Kamrul Islam has been appointed to the post of Protocol Officer-2 (Grade-6), subject to relinquishing any existing professional, business, government, semi-government, private-sector or organizational affiliations.
The appointment will remain effective from the date of joining until the end of the Prime Minister’s tenure or until the Prime Minister decides otherwise, whichever comes first.
The notification stated that the detailed terms and conditions of the appointment will be specified in a separate contract agreement.
The government said the appointment has been made in the public interest.
