Massive Fire Breaks Out at Slum in Chattogram’s Halishahar

A major fire broke out at a slum in the Halishahar area of Chattogram city on Tuesday morning, prompting an immediate response from the Fire Service.
The incident occurred in the I-Block area of Halishahar. Upon receiving the alert, four firefighting units from the Agrabad Fire Station rushed to the scene and began efforts to bring the blaze under control.
According to the Chattogram Fire Service control room, firefighters are actively working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. The exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be determined immediately.
No casualties have been reported so far. Authorities said a detailed assessment of the losses and the cause of the incident will be carried out once the fire is fully extinguished.
