PM Tarique Rahman Mourns the Death of BNP Executive Committee Member Zahurul Islam Babu

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Executive Committee Member Zahurul Islam Babu.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, the Prime Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Zahurul Islam Babu passed away at around 8:30 pm on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Medical University, popularly known as PG Hospital. He had been receiving treatment in the hospital’s intensive care unit and was suffering from liver-related complications.
Alongside his political involvement, Babu was also associated with cricket. He was a prominent cricketer of the Pabna PYC Club and a member of the Pabna Former Cricketers’ Association.
