Radhika Madan Opens Up About Fear Over Intimate Scenes in ‘Last Stories 3’

Bollywood anthology film ‘Last Stories 3’ was released on September 18, featuring Radhika Madan in an intimate scene with actor Ali Fazal. While the scene appears natural on screen, Madan has revealed that filming such sequences still brings back an old fear.

The actress has long been concerned about intimate footage being leaked without permission. Her anxiety dates back to 2016, when an intimate scene from her film ‘Parched’ was leaked. The incident has continued to affect the way she approaches similar scenes in later projects.

Speaking in an interview, Madan said actors have to accept a certain level of risk while filming intimate sequences. She noted that it is impossible for performers to control how people with questionable intentions may use or circulate such footage. According to her, the possibility of a scene being leaked is something actors have to keep in mind while doing such work.

Vijay Varma, who also appears in ‘Last Stories 3’, previously acted in an intimate scene with his former partner Tamannaah Bhatia in ‘Last Stories 2’. Footage from that scene was later circulated online.

Reflecting on the experience, Varma said actors have to keep their focus on the work rather than constantly worrying about how audiences might react. He acknowledged that some footage can spread across multiple platforms beyond an actor’s control. Dwelling on such possibilities, he added, could make performers hesitant to take creative risks.

‘Last Stories 3’ also features Vijay Varma, Aditi Rao Hydari and Konkona Sen Sharma alongside Radhika Madan and Ali Fazal. The different segments of the anthology were directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj.
