Motorcycle Used in Shooting Targeting Tiger Shroff Recovered; Two Detained

Mumbai police have made fresh progress in the investigation into a shooting targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The motorcycle allegedly used in the attack has been recovered, and two people have been detained for questioning.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, the motorcycle was found abandoned near Andheri railway station in Mumbai. After analysing CCTV footage from the scene and surrounding areas, police initially traced the bike’s movements towards the DN Nagar area of Andheri West before seizing it.
Police sources familiar with the investigation suspect that the attackers headed towards the railway station and escaped by train. Investigators are examining station CCTV footage and using facial-recognition technology in an effort to identify them. Fifteen police teams are reportedly working on the case.
According to the report, the incident took place at around 8 pm on Sunday, October 18, in Mumbai’s Vile Parle area. It alleged that three attackers fired five rounds at Shroff as he was leaving Pushpa Park after playing football.
Initial reports suggested that the actor was unharmed, but photographs published later showed that he had sustained some injuries. In pictures released on Monday, October 19, Shroff was seen meeting Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde with bandages on his chest and left hand.
Shroff’s driver and an auto-rickshaw driver were also reportedly hit by gunfire. Their conditions were said to be stable.
Following the attack, two alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, claimed responsibility for the shooting in social media posts. The report also said that the posts contained threats against several Bollywood personalities. However, the authenticity of those claims has not been independently established.
Police are investigating the motive behind the attack, the identities of the assailants and any possible links to others. Further details may emerge as the investigation progresses.
