Home Minister Warns Those Behind Worker Unrest

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has warned that individuals and organizations involved in fueling unrest among industrial workers will face firm action. He said those responsible would be dealt with strictly.
The minister made the remarks on Monday morning, November 2, following a meeting with leaders of garment factory owners at the Secretariat.
The meeting focused on the ongoing situation in the garment sector, the reasons behind the crisis and possible measures to resolve it. After the discussion, Salahuddin briefed journalists on the matters discussed and the decisions taken.
