To make voting easier for citizens ahead of the upcoming national election and referendum, the Election Commission has introduced four simple ways for voters to find their polling station and voter information.

Using these methods, voters can easily learn their voter serial number, polling station name, and address from anywhere.

The first method is through a mobile application called “Smart Election Management BD.” Voters can download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

After selecting the relevant national election option and choosing “Find Polling Station,” voters need to enter their National ID number and date of birth. The app then displays the voter number, serial number, polling station name, and address.

The second method is via the Election Commission hotline number 105. By calling 105 and pressing 9 to speak with an operator, voters can obtain their polling station details by providing their National ID number and date of birth. This service is available daily from 6:00 am to 12:00 midnight.

The third method allows voters to get information through SMS. By typing PC NID and sending it to 105, voters will receive a reply message containing their voter number and polling station details.

The fourth method is through the Election Commission’s official website. By visiting ecs.gov.bd and clicking on the polling station option, voters can search for their polling station using either their electoral area or by entering their National ID number and date of birth. The website also provides a Google Maps feature, allowing voters to view the exact location of the polling station along with distance and directions.
