Mashud Bin Abdur Razzak Selected as Judge at DMF’s Digital Media Excellence Award 2025

Mashud Bin Abdur Razzak has been working successfully in the Bangladeshi media industry for nearly two decades. He is currently serving as the News Editor and Online in-Charge at the private television channel Deepto TV.

After completing his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka, he began his career in journalism.

Throughout his professional journey, he has held key positions at several of Bangladesh’s leading media outlets, including The Daily Ittefaq, The Daily Jugantor, Jago News, Bangladesh Journal, Khola Kagoj, and Somoy Television.

He has received specialized training in areas such as online media management, fact-checking, gender-sensitive journalism, and environmental reporting.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mashud is actively involved in various professional and social organizations.

He is one of the founding organizers of the think tank Stakeholders of Bangladesh; the coordinator of Forum of Young Professionals; the Joint General Secretary of Rangpur Division Journalists’ Association, Dhaka (RDJA); the Office Secretary of the Online Editors’ Alliance; and a member of the Executive Committee of the Dhaka University Mass Communication and Journalism Alumni Association.

As a Jury Member for the Digital Media Excellence Award 2025, Mashud brings his expertise in digital strategy, content innovation, and ethical journalism to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions in the digital media landscape.
