MP Fazlul Haque Milon Participates in International Water Conference in Laos

AKM Fazlul Haque Milon, Member of Parliament for Gazipur-5 (Kaliganj), represented Bangladesh at the Asia National Assembly Water Consultative Meeting held in Laos.

As the sole representative from the Bangladesh National Parliament, MP Milon participated in the Asia National Assembly Water Consultative Meeting Overseas and Academic Session on Wednesday (July 29). The session focused on key issues including water resource management, sustainable development, international cooperation, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices among participating countries.

During the conference, MP Milon also held courtesy meetings and exchanged views with delegates from different nations. Their discussions emphasized strengthening mutual cooperation in water resource management, environmental protection, and climate resilience.

Representing Bangladesh on the international platform, MP Milon highlighted the country’s commitment and initiatives in sustainable water resource management and sustainable development. Participants expressed hope that Bangladesh’s active engagement in such global forums would further enhance international collaboration on water management and climate-related challenges in the years ahead.
