Sangeeta Chowdhury to Appear in Diverse Roles in Eid Dramas

Sangeeta Chowdhury is set to entertain audiences this Eid with a range of diverse and challenging characters in upcoming television dramas.

Known for her graceful screen presence and powerful acting, the actress and recitation artist has already earned praise for her role as “Dilruba” in the mega serial *Porompora* aired on Deepto Television. She has also been expanding her creative portfolio through voice work in commercials and English-language series.

This Eid, Sangeeta will be seen in two special productions directed by Saif Ahmed and Zakir Hossain Shoukin.

Speaking about her Eid projects, Sangeeta said, “So far, I am working on two dramas for Eid. One is Saif Ahmed’s seven-episode series *Bhat Hasan*, where I play the role of a contemporary television presenter. It’s a fun and comedy-based character, and I had the opportunity to work alongside renowned actor Mosharraf Karim.”

She added, “The other project is Zakir Hossain Shoukin’s *Kajol Chokher Meye*, where I portray the daughter-in-law of an aristocratic family. Both characters felt very appealing and challenging to me. My Eid will be successful if the audience enjoys the performances.”

The actress also revealed that discussions are underway regarding another Eid drama. As she is receiving multiple offers simultaneously, she is carefully selecting projects based on the strength of the characters.

Recently, Sangeeta also appeared in an emotional Mother’s Day commercial for Gree air conditioners directed by Anom Biswas, which has received positive audience feedback.

She further said that she is currently preparing herself for a new film project and hopes to take on more meaningful work in the near future.
