Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended warm greetings to Bangladesh and its people on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid al-Fitr.

In a message addressed to Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Modi conveyed his heartfelt wishes on behalf of the Government and people of India.

In his message, Modi expressed sincere greetings to the people of Bangladesh, referring to them as close friends, and highlighted the shared cultural and spiritual values between the two nations. He noted that throughout the past month, Muslims in India and across the world observed the holy month of Ramadan through fasting, prayers, and devotion.

The Indian Prime Minister emphasized that Eid serves as a reminder of the timeless values of compassion, brotherhood, and unity. He also conveyed his wishes for peace, harmony, good health, and happiness for people around the world.

Modi further expressed hope that the longstanding friendship and mutual cooperation between India and Bangladesh would continue to grow stronger in the future.
