Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has sent essential textbooks and test papers for Ramimul Islam Rifad, the younger son of Mofizul Islam Rashed, a former co-organizational secretary of the Central Chhatra Dal who fell victim to enforced disappearance.

On Friday, Agriculture Specialist Moksedul Momin Mithun, Member Secretary of 'Amra BNP Paribar', delivered the books to Rifad's elder brother, Rimon. The organization confirmed the matter through a press release.

According to the press release, Mofizul Islam Rashed, who was also the former vice-president of Darussalam Thana Chhatra Dal, was forcibly disappeared on April 4, 2013. Later, in November 2021, Rifad's mother, Ruma Begum, tragically passed away in a road accident while fighting for justice for her missing husband. Having lost both parents, Rifad is currently living with his aunt in Chandpur and preparing for his SSC examinations at Balithuba Abdul Hamid High School.

Upon learning from Rimon that Rifad required textbooks and test papers for his exams, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, chief patron of 'Amra BNP Paribar', directed his Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon to take immediate action.

Organization members and Chhatra Dal leaders were present during the handover ceremony. 'Amra BNP Paribar' reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting victimized families and safeguarding the education and future of their children.
