A legal notice has been sent to National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener and Opposition Chief Whip Nahid Islam, demanding the withdrawal of remarks he made about Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The notice also stated that the nation did not expect such comments from someone holding important positions such as NCP convener and Opposition Chief Whip. It called on Nahid Islam to apologise to the nation for his remarks.
