PM Meets Abdullah Abu Sayeed, Stresses Promoting Reading Culture

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a meeting with Abdullah Abu Sayeed, founder of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, to discuss promoting reading habits among students.
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Secretariat on Thursday.
According to Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam Rony, discussions focused on encouraging reading habits among students at primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels.
It was agreed that the government and Bishwo Shahitto Kendro would work jointly to expand reading programs nationwide. The Prime Minister also directed relevant ministries to take necessary steps to broaden such initiatives.
