Journalist and author Badrul Alam Nabil has been selected as a member of the jury board for the Digital Media Excellence Award 2025, organized by the Digital Media Forum (DMF).

Badrul Alam Nabil began his career in investigative journalism in the 1990s. Since 2008, he has worked for Banglavision, one of Bangladesh’s leading television channels, for 17 consecutive years in several key positions.

Most recently, as the Executive Editor, he transformed the channel’s online platform into one of the country’s top digital news media outlets. He is currently serving as the Editor (Online & Program) at MyTV.

In recognition of his remarkable contributions to digital media, BBC Media Action produced a documentary highlighting his achievements.

Throughout his distinguished career, Nabil has also served as the Editor of Asia Twentyfour, iBTV USA, and the New York Shomoy newspaper.

He has covered several high-profile international events as a special correspondent, including sessions of the United Nations General Assembly and the official visits of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister and opposition leaders to the United States and India.

He has also traveled to 16 countries for reporting and was invited by the governments of Germany and China to attend the Global Media Summit.

Nabil has been actively involved as a trainer with BBC Media Action, JobsA1, and other institutions. Additionally, he has participated in various international media projects with Deutsche Welle (Germany) and CCTV (China), earning recognition and awards for his work.

A graduate in Bangla Literature, Badrul Alam Nabil is also the author of five books on journalism, literature, and politics. He is a member of the National Press Club, the Reporters' Unity, and the Broadcast Journalist Center (BJC). He also serves as the chairman of several educational institutions in his hometown, Kuakata.

In recent years, Nabil has gained prominence as a political analyst at both national and international levels. His strong leadership in media management, literature, journalism, organizational development, and digital innovation has earned him a place on the jury board of the prestigious Digital Media Excellence Award 2025.
