Iran has directly rejected a ceasefire proposal from the United States. An Iranian senior official reported on Wednesday (March 25), stating that Tehran views the proposal as excessive and unrealistic. The official further clarified that Iran will determine when to end the war based on its own terms and timeline.

Iran has emphasized that the enemy will not be allowed to set the end date of the war, and its "defensive operations" will continue until its conditions are met.

Iran has outlined five conditions for ending the war:

The enemy must immediately halt all forms of aggression and killings.
Effective guarantees must be provided to ensure that no future war will be imposed on Iran.
Compensation must be provided for the damages caused by the war.
The war must end not only at Iran's borders but across the entire Middle East and against resistance fighters.
Iran demands international recognition of its sovereignty and control over the Hormuz Strait.

Meanwhile, the United States has not officially commented on Iran's response, but diplomatic efforts are reported to be ongoing.
