The Ibn Sina Pharmaceutical Industry and all its subsidiary organisations have imposed a restriction preventing their officers and employees from contesting in elections.

The directive was issued through an administrative order signed by the company's Managing Director on September 6.

According to the order, under Clause 21(6) of Chapter IV (General Conduct) of the organisation's Service Rules, no officer or employee may contest in national parliamentary elections, local government elections, or any other public administration or council elections while employed by the organisation.

The order further states that violating the directive will be considered misconduct and a breach of organisational discipline. Disciplinary action will be taken against those involved in such activities in accordance with the applicable rules.

The directive applies to all officers and employees of Ibn Sina Pharmaceutical Industry and its subsidiary organisations. It has been ordered to take effect immediately.
