Taapsee Pannu explains why she kept her wedding private

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has explained why she chose not to share photographs or videos from her 2024 wedding to former Danish badminton player Mathias Boe.

For Taapsee, marriage is a personal part of life, and she did not feel the need to make a formal announcement or publish wedding content. She has said that she prefers to keep her personal and professional lives separate.

According to the actress, keeping private matters away from public attention does not mean she is hiding something or feels uncomfortable discussing them. She simply does not find it natural to present an intimate occasion such as a wedding through press releases or staged photographs and videos.

Boe’s professional background was another consideration. Since he is not part of the entertainment industry, Taapsee wanted to avoid having her celebrity status bring excessive attention to his or his family’s private lives.

The couple first met through badminton and later began a relationship. After being together for several years, they married in Udaipur in 2024 in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

Since the wedding, Taapsee has continued to keep her personal life out of the spotlight and focus on her acting career. Her view is that celebrities are not obligated to share every private moment with the public.
