Prime Minister Congratulates Tigers on Historic Test Victory Against Pakistan

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team for securing their first-ever Test victory against Pakistan on home soil.

Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Zahidul Islam Rony confirmed the matter.

Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 104 runs in the first Test of the two-match series held today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Bangladesh had set a target of 268 runs for Pakistan. In reply, the visiting side was bowled out for 163 runs.

Earlier, Bangladesh had won their previous two Test matches against Pakistan on Pakistani soil. With this victory in Dhaka, the Tigers secured their third consecutive Test win over Pakistan.

The historic victory sparked celebrations among cricket fans across the country.
