South Asia’s Most Modern Golf Entertainment Centre: Bashundhara Super Golf

Bashundhara Super Golf has officially opened with a grand ceremony at Bashundhara Residential Area in Dhaka. The facility was formally inaugurated on Thursday evening by Emil Ahmed Sobhan, Managing Director of Sanvir Bashundhara Group (SBG). Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, Managing Director of Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG), delivered the opening remarks.

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and SBG Chairman Safiat Sobhan Sanvir were present at the event, along with senior officials from Bashundhara Group and its affiliated organisations.

According to Bashundhara Super Golf Head of Operations Rezaur Rahman Khan, the facility has transformed the conventional golfing experience through advanced automation.

At traditional golf courses, players often have to search for their balls after taking a shot. At Bashundhara Super Golf, however, the ball is automatically transported through an underground network to a collection point. It is then cleaned by an automated machine and sent back through a pipeline directly to the tee point of the player’s bay.

As a result, players do not have to spend time searching for or collecting their balls.

The entire process is powered by high-tech automation. The facility operates under the concept of “More Than Golf”, positioning itself not only as a sports venue but also as an inclusive entertainment and social destination for families, friends and business gatherings.

68 Deluxe Bays and 17 VIP Suites
Bashundhara Super Golf features 68 Deluxe Bays across its first and second floors. Each bay can accommodate up to six players at a time.

Every bay has a dedicated “Bay Host” and “Bay Runner” to assist players with shots and food service.

Golfing is available from 6 am to 2 am, with hourly rates divided into three categories: Off-Peak Low, Off-Peak Mid and Peak.

The third floor features 17 VIP Suites, each capable of accommodating up to 16 people. The suites include air-conditioned private rooms, presentation and meeting facilities, shower rooms, and premium food services, making them suitable for corporate meetings and premium gatherings.

Digital Experience and Indoor Simulators
Players can digitally track their shots through a smart app and record their best performances for sharing on social media.

The facility also has four advanced indoor golf simulators, offering the experience of playing on 207 renowned golf courses around the world, including Scotland’s historic St Andrews.

The simulators provide different terrain experiences as well as specialised putting practice facilities.

A separate simulator-based training facility is also available for those who want to learn golf under professional coaching.

Dining, Entertainment and Social Spaces
Bashundhara Super Golf features a restaurant named 19th Hole, inspired by the traditional gathering of golfers after completing 18 holes.

For dining, visitors can choose from Cafe Amazon, Terra China—with Chinese and Japanese themes—and Urban Crave.

The complex also features a billiards room with three billiards tables, five meeting rooms for gatherings of two to 10 people, and a spacious banquet hall suitable for social events and mehendi ceremonies.

Dedicated Facilities for Children and Families
A dedicated Kids Club has been designed to provide children with a social and recreational environment away from mobile phones and gaming screens. The facility can also be used for birthday celebrations and family activities.

A fully equipped medical room is also available within the complex to provide immediate healthcare assistance in emergencies.

Platinum and Platinum Plus Membership
For regular golfers, Bashundhara Super Golf offers Platinum and Platinum Plus memberships.

The annual fee for Platinum membership is Tk 200,000, while Platinum Plus costs Tk 500,000 per year.

Membership benefits include unlimited play, special discounts on food and events, and various other facilities. Corporate and family packages are also available.

According to Head of Operations Rezaur Rahman Khan and Bay Operations Manager Arup Fabian Gomes, the combination of technology, sports and luxury is expected to make Bashundhara Super Golf a prominent destination for social interaction and business networking.
